Out of the Woods is a lifestyle brand that specializes in totes and coolers made from trees.

The Challenge

Out of the Woods launched in 2019 as a way to introduce Supernatural Paper® to the market as a new sustainable material innovation. The brand initially launched in Whole Foods and the challenge was transitioning a grocery item into an aspirational lifestyle brand.

The Solution

A full-scale marketing program that began with a new creative direction, then translating updated creatives and messaging into website design, social media campaigns, paid advertisements, email and SMS marketing.

The Impact

  • Grew email marketing subscribers from 5,000 to 75,000 (1400%)

  • Initiated new SMS channel that grew to over 35% of monthly revenue in 3 months with less than 1,000 subscribers

  • Developed strong creative direction that repositioned the brand from grocery to a sustainable lifestyle brand
