The Challenge

Out of the Woods launched in 2019 as a way to introduce Supernatural Paper® to the market as a new sustainable material innovation. The brand initially launched in Whole Foods and the challenge was transitioning a grocery item into an aspirational lifestyle brand.

The Solution

A full-scale marketing program that began with a new creative direction, including revamped creative and messaging, website redesign, social media management, influencer campaigns and partner collaborations, paid advertisements, and a robust email and SMS marketing strategy.

The Impact

  • Grew subscriber list from from 5,000 to 75,000 email subscribers (that’s 1400% growth in 3 years!)

  • Initiated new SMS channel that grew to over 35% of monthly revenue in just 3 months and less than 1,000 SMS subscribers

  • Developed strong creative direction that repositioned the brand from grocery to a sustainable lifestyle brand
